Sunday, October 11th

8:00am – 12:00pm

Winged Melody Park – Aurora Highlands - Aurora, CO

This private seminar is offered exclusively for Windsor Gardens residents and focuses on understanding everyday feline behavior, reducing stress, and creating harmony in senior‑living homes. The presentation provides practical, science‑based guidance tailored to multi‑pet households, apartment living, and the unique needs of cats in quieter, shared environments.

During this resident‑only seminar, I’ll be sharing educational materials and answering questions on:

Why Cats Behave the Way They Do:  Routine, territory, predictability, and how subtle body‑language cues reveal comfort, stress, or uncertainty.

Reducing Stress in Multi‑Pet Homes:  Resource separation, vertical space, and calm, supervised introductions that prevent long‑term tension.

Preventing Common Behavior Issues:  Clean, accessible litter boxes, daily interactive play, and gentle redirection instead of punishment.

Creating a Peaceful Home Environment:  Consistent routines, cozy resting spots, stable scents, and clear pathways that help cats feel secure.

Understanding Feline Communication:  Slow blinks, tail and ear signals, whisker position, and changes in routine that indicate stress.

Easy Enrichment Ideas:  Rotating toys, boxes, puzzles, window perches, and simple “seek and find” treat games.

After the seminar, I’ll be available to answer cat‑related questions and demonstrate simple enrichment and play techniques — helping residents understand how to engage their cats in ways that build confidence, reduce stress, and support healthy behavior.
